In the Eye Witness Reports called the NT, the word faith is derived from the Greek word pistis or from the verb pisteuo, meaning to trust in, to have confidence in, to rely on, have trustworthy assurance in the one you know.

The English word faith is dated from 1200–50, from the Latin fidem, or fidēs, meaning trust, akin to fīdere, which means to trust in and rely on.

Believing in what you do not know and can not see is faith, faith is hoping.

Knowing The ONE Creator, Yahowah by personal Name, is to trust in and rely assuredly upon Him the ONE you KNOW on a first name basis.
